Cailin Mellberg graduated from the Osteopathic Masters Program at Victoria University.
Cailin won the ‘Industry Award’ for outstanding performance in his final examinations.
Prior to studying Osteopathy, Cailin worked as a remedial massage therapist, developing his hands on approach and clinical skills.
Cailin’s work within gym environments has provided him with an excellent background in exercise rehabilitation. He has furthered this with additional study into advanced rehabilitation and management of tendon injury.
Cailin Mellberg has studied chronic pain in detail completing further training in ‘Neurophysiology of Pain’, ‘Beyond Mechanical Pain’ and ‘Explain Pain’ courses.
He has worked closely with a family member who sustained spinal fractures and this experience has resulted in a deeper understanding of the impact that pain can have on quality of life and what it means to live with chronic conditions.

Beyond these areas of further study, Cailin has worked extensively with patients who experience headaches and neck pain, along with the variety of complaints that commonly present.
These range from disc pathology, to back pain and sciatica, neural pain, sports injuries, arthritis and pregnancy-related aches and pains.
He is very dedicated to work and is fortunate to be supported by fantastic group of friends and family.
He is passionate about sport and maintains a curiosity for the world around him.
